Woodland Streams

Woodland Streams

Gregg Wies & Gardner originally designed this craftsman style home in 1981 as a 3,000 square foot addition to a small one room stone hunting cabin which had been built in 1930 into the partially demolished foundations of an eighteenth century mill. At the confluence of two rushing streams on a boulder strewn sloping site, the sight and sounds of water play prominently in every room.

Extensive terraces extend the living space to naturally landscaped stream side settings and extend up the hillside to a swimming pool and spa set into rock ledge. A rustic fenced Fast Dry tennis court sits in a woodland clearing with extensive native plantings.
