Westport Railroad Station

The Westport Railroad Station project includes ADA & Intermodal Upgrades to Historic Westport/Saugatuck Metro North Commuter Rail Station

As a result of its designation by the FHWA as a Key Station, CDOT was required to implement a number of pedestrian access upgrades to this historic station. Initial study to decide between “up and over” structure or tunnel. Modernizations & ADA upgrades to station building, platforms, stairs & ramps. Intermodal connection to transit loading area with canopy.

The 1910’s station structure was historically upgraded to the Secretary of Interior Standard’s for Rehabilitation. The work included HABS documentation & Historic Survey Report and archeological survey.

Services include architecture, historic preservation, engineering and transportation planning.
