This 1906 beaux arts style city hall is listed on the National Historic Register and is sited on a triangular city block fronted by a broad plaza and stairs and backed by an urban park.  The site is one of the few remaining vestiges of the original town center.

The three phase restoration and preservation of the historic Old Town Hall for future adaptive re-use by the City effort included roof replacement, masonry cleaning and repair, window and door replacement’ and re-creation of the original plaza and rear gardens.  The structure also received an extensive exterior lighting program to enhance its presence at the city center.

Restoration Issues included replacement of Vermont slate roof and hipped skylight; new LCC roofing & clock tower; historic style replacement windows and doors; wrought iron grill work repair; limestone cleaning, repair, replacement and re-pointing.

Services included architectural, preservation, MEP engineering, landscape architecture and exterior lighting.
