Gregg Wies & Gardner Architects, LLC (GWG) has been serving clients throughout New England for more than twenty six years, providing expertise in all aspects of design and construction for educational, commercial, health, laboratory research, hospitality, recreational, transportation and residential clients.
Glenn H. Gregg, FAIA, founded the firm in 1980 after a partnership at Herbert S. Newman Associates. With a substantial base in academic and residential work, he was joined in 1987 by Richard N. Wies, AIA, formerly an associate at Alan Greenberg Architects. Rick brought an exceptional background in residential and sports related projects. In 2001, Samuel E. Gardner, AIA, joined the partnership as an associate partner, bringing to the firm a strong experience base in transportation, hospitality and municipal work. In April 2004, the partners formed Gregg Wies & Gardner Architects, LLC.
As the office continues to grow in our third decade, we are expanding the project types we design and nurturing new relationships with a variety of clients. We continue to strive to understand the importance of our clients’ investment in each of their projects and to add value wherever possible.
Led by the principals of the firm, GWG Architects utilizes a team approach for each project with a principal and project manager assigned to each job from the initial stages through completion of the project. Our projects range from small interior renovations to commissions in excess of $10 million. We are well known within the profession, and cultivate relationships within a wide circle of other design and engineering firms, working exceptionally well as part of large multi-disciplined teams.
GWG Architects works upon the basic philosophical premise that all design solutions are founded on innovation and creativity, balanced by experience and good judgment.
