New Station at Fairfield Metro Center

The New Station at Fairfield Metro Center includes the design of a new commuter rail station to be located within a new commercial office park development. The project involves a 3-party agreement between ConnDOT, Blackrock Developers and the Town of Fairfield. The station is comprised of (2) elevator/stair towers at either end of an enclosed pedestrian bridge linked to a ticket office located at the upper level of a parking and commercial structure. The station is the first new Metro North station on the New Haven line in 50 years. The client is ConnDOT. Funding provided by FHWA.
