The Bridgeport Transportation Center had been identified as a Key Station and, as such, required ADA upgrades to all public spaces including elevators, restrooms, ticket counters, stairs and concessions. CT DOT used the project as an opportunity to modernize the facility and develop intermodal connections to the adjacent GBTA “Pulse Point Station”, the Bridgeport/Port Jefferson Ferry and a 500-car parking garage. Pedestrian connections included new canopies, platform stairs, concourse improvements at rail facility, new lighting & signage and parking garage improvements. The station building had upgrades to all building systems including roof, HVAC, new Metro North offices, and landscaped Pedestrian Plaza.

Services included transportation planning, architecture, MEP engineering, landscape architecture.
