New England Beachfront Residence

This residence was designed by GWG in 1989 as a weekend home. All the rooms enjoy water views and south light with an open living area plan while retaining privacy from the street. Six years later, new owners approached GWG to design additional bedrooms and living space so they could use it as their primary residence. Folding glass doors open up to provide a twenty-five foot clear south exposure to Long Island Sound for a sun room / family room which is fit out with rolling screens concealed in the ceiling. The master bedroom has been expanded to include a fireplace, sun deck and expanded dressing areas.
